CSS Overrides

When editing your convention theme, you may want more flexibility than our simple editor allows. That's where the CSS overrides feature comes in. You can find it under Convention Tools > Edit This Convention > Theme.

There's a lot you can do with this feature, but it should only be used by people who understand Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). Here are a few examples of things you can do.

Colored Nav Bar

Perhaps you want a brown nav bar rather than the traditional "dark" and "light" options we give you.  That's easy, just add something like this.

/* set the background color and border color of the nav bar */<br>.theme-nav .navbar-inverse { <br>    background-color: #4c3012; <br>    border-color: #4c3012; <br>}<br><br>/* set the background color of a selected dropdown */<br>.theme-nav .navbar-inverse .navbar-nav>.open>a, .theme-nav .navbar-inverse .navbar-nav>.open>a:focus, .theme-nav .navbar-inverse .navbar-nav>.open>a:hover {<br>     background-color: #3f280e;<br>}
NOTE: The above example assumes you're using the dark nav. If you prefer to use the light nav, change all instances of .navbar-inverse with .navbar-default

Image Background

If you'd like to put a nice image of the hotel where your event will be hosted in the background of your page, that's easily done too. You can either use an image from the web, or just upload an image to your "description" page and copy and paste the URL.  Then do something like this:
body {
    background-image: url(http://weknowyourdreamz.com/images/beach/beach-02.jpg);
    background-repeat: no-repeat;
    background-size: cover;

Border Thickness

Or maybe you just want to change the thickness of the border on your page.
.theme-container, .theme-header { <br>    border-width: 5px; <br>}<br>
